Jessner Peel
Our Jessner Peel is a medium deep peel designed for more extensive damage than AHA’s can improve. It is made from salicylic acid (a beta hydroxyl acid), lactic acid (an alpha hydroxyl acid) and resorcinol. It can be used to lighten areas of hyperpigmentation and to treat aged, sun-damaged skin.

How is it applied:
The technician applies a glycolic cleanser over your face to fully remove the oils, so that the Jessner’s solution will penetrate properly. Then she will apply the Jessner’s solution to your face. This causes a slight burning sensation. Several layers may be applied depending on the skin condition. You may develop a whitened look, known as “frosting” that will dissipate within a few hours. The technician neutralizes the solution and removes it from the skin with cool water. A calming mask is applied. The skin may be pink or light tan color, and then begins to peel and flake for about 7 days. After about a week, more smooth and radiant looking skin will appear.

Refinity Medical Skin Solution
Refinity Medical skin Solution is a peel along with accompanying skin care is a medical strength AHA Glycolic Peel. The peel itself takes about 5 to 15 minutes, and the entire treatment lasts about 30 minutes. The skin will be slightly pink or even slightly red afterwards, but smoother skin is a definite benefit. Although it cannot remove all facial flaws, the skin will look younger, tighter and fresher than before. Deeper lines, wrinkles and other flaws may require additional treatments or techniques.
