Shanan Vali PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant

Shanan is the Physician Assistant at La Jolla Cosmetic Laser Clinic. She joined L.C.L.C. in early 2006 and specializes in the area of advanced laser and cosmetic services with specific detail to "Liquid Lifts," skin resurfacing and melasma. Shanan is an active participant in continuing her education and advancing her skills in the most state-of-the-art laser technologies including Active/Deep/Total FX, Fraxel II Restore, and Thermage as well as perfecting a "natural look" with Botox and dermal fillers.

Shanan has been practicing as a Physician Assistant since graduating with a B.S. in Physician Assistant Science from King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in 2000. She has more than 9 years of experience as in the medical profession including 5 years of plastic surgery/aesthetic medicine, 2 years of orthopedic/spine surgery and pain management, and 2 years of internal medicine/urgent care.

Shanan is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and is nationally board certified by the National Certifying Commission of Physician Assistants. She has also received numerous certificates in all areas of aesthetics including Thermage of the face, eyes and body, CO2 laser, Fraxel, IPL/Nd Yag, Light Sheer diode, Botox and dermal fillers, mesotherapy and sclerotherapy. She maintains certificates in CPR/Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Shanan has helped L.C.L.C. achieve our six Pinnacle Awards and Black Diamond status for Thermage in the years 2007, 2008, and 2009. She is bilingual, speaking both English and Portuguese fluently.

Shanan's credentials and experience combined with her passion of the field of aesthetics allows her to reach her goal of educating her clients so that they may reach their personal aesthetic goals with the greatest of comfort and ease.

Tammy Harrington, RN, BSN
Registered Nurse

Tammy is the Staff Registered Nurse at La Jolla Cosmetic Laser and has been with us since 2006. She specializes in Cosmetic Laser Procedures, Dermal Fillers and Botox. She has received extensive training in the area of cosmetic laser treatments and has trained with other medical professionals in the use of some of the most advanced, state-of-the-art laser technologies including Fraxel, Thermage, CO2 and IPL.

Tammy has been a practicing RN since graduating from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA in 1999 and has over 10 years in the medical profession with her past specialties including cosmetic, orthopedic and neuro-trauma. Tammy has held positions with Sharp Coronado Hospital, USCD Medical Center and Jeanes Hospital.

Tammy strives to provide the most caring approach possible for her patients. Her professional skills, warm nature and discretion are of the utmost importance in her relationship with her patients. She adheres to a philosophy of treating her patients with the highest level of care and respect. She is passionate about the use of laser technology and achieving the best possible results for her patients.

Mahshid Mani, RN, BSN
Registered Nurse

Mahshid joined the La Jolla Cosmetic Laser Clinic practice in early 2009. She has over 17 years experience as a Surgical Nurse both in a hospital ICU environment and private practice with more than 5 years' experience in all cosmetic dermal fillers, skin laser, Thermage,  hair laser and peels. She has additional experience with laser surgery as a vitrectomy surgical nurse..

Mahshid graduated in the top 10% of her class from the University of Tennessee where she was certified in Critical Care. For over 11 years she worked as a staff nurse in PACU, Pre-op, OR and Surgery at Alvarado Medical Hospital Center here in San Diego, receiving many awards from staff and physicians during her tenure.

For nearly 4 years Mahshid was a surgical nurse for California Retina Associates.  She brings extensive laser experience and has already developed a large patient following for her skills in injections of Dermal Fillers and Botox.

Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• It’s very important you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time so that we can provide you with a complete treatment session.
• Out of courtesy to all of our clients, we have established a 24-hour cancellation policy – without this notice, you will be charged $50. We want to be able to accommodate all of our clients in a timely fashion. Your missed appointment could be an opportunity for another.
