Intimalase in San Diego, CA

WHAT IS INTIMALASE?

Intimalase is a non-invasive, non-surgical, effective laser and photothermal treatment for the tightening of the vaginal canal.  Intimalase is best for treating vaginal relaxation syndrome.  This treatment features a non-ablative laser with proprietary smooth mode for the stimulation of collage remodeling and the synthesis of new collagen fibers in the vaginal mucosa tissue and collagen-rich endopelvic fascia.  The final result is collagen neogenesis and remodeling and tightening of the vaginal canal.

WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM INCONTILASE?

Anyone who struggles with vaginal relaxation syndrome (loose vagina).  Vaginal relaxation syndrome is defined as the increase in the inner diameter of the vaginal wall.  It can result in loss of friction or sensation and or sexual satisfaction for both partners.

RESULTS

95% of patients described the change in their vaginal tightness as strongly to moderately improved after IntimaLase treatment.

The average shrinkage of the vaginal canal after IntimaLase treatment was 17%.

WHAT CAN EXPECT DURING MY PROCEDURE?

IntimaLase is minimally invasive and non-surgical, it is painless, comfortable and quick.  No surgery is performed, there is no ablation, cutting, bleeding or sutures.  No anesthesia is required.  Like with any cosmetic gynecological procedure at the clinic you are evaluated by a qualified, over 25 year practicing OBGYN physician.

This procedure has been tested and used in Europe since 2010 and in Canada since 2013. It has proved successful in producing a tightening effect to the vagina through stimulation of collagen regeneration and remodeling. This procedure (in 2014) has not yet been FDA approved. I understand that it is being used on an “off label” basis. “Off label” use of Intimalase/Incontilase/Renovalase/Prolaplase Laser has been explained to me by Physician/Physician Assistant/Nurse. I accept and consent to the off label use of Intimalase/Incontilase/Renovalase/Prolaplase Laser.
