Poke A Dot Lift™
Treatment of significant skin laxity is difficult without major surgery. Traditional approaches included surgical and nonsurgical lifts and treatments. With time, technology has evolved to provide minimally invasive techniques
Including threads, neuromodulators, soft tissue fillers, laser, radiofrequency, ultrasound skin tightening devices, fractional and ablative laser therapy, and other modalities. While some improvement is achieved with each of these methods, the treatment response varies and is often unsatisfactory among patients especially those patients with moderate to severe skin laxity.
In an effort to achieve improvement in skin laxity without major surgical procedures, a punch extraction technique (Poke a Dot Lift ™) is used to remove numerous small round columns of skin and subcutaneous fat to decrease the submental region has been used safely and successfully. This procedure may also be used for laxity on the trunk and extremities.
Significant improvement in skin laxity may be seen using this technique. The surgical procedure may also include areas on the trunk and extremities where there is currently no easy solution for moderate to severe skin laxity.
