Andrew Steele has enjoyed a successful career on the British track team. He competed in the Beijing and London Olympics, falling just short of a Bronze medal in the 4x400m relay in Beijing. However, other aspects of his life have been far from perfect. Like many teenagers and young adults in their 20s, Steele has struggled with a serious acne condition.
Steele developed acne at the age of 14, and it never cleared up through his mid 20s. “It was mainly on my nose, cheeks, and chin, but I also had spots on my back,” he said. “It made me self-conscious…By my late teens and early 20s, I was getting incredibly frustrated. When you’re a young teenager, everyone tells you how you’ll grow out of spots, but when you still have acne when you’re an adult, that’s quite depressing.”
After years of unsuccessfully trying a variety of acne treatments, Steele had come to accept that he may be forced to live with acne for the foreseeable future. Until recently.
Steele’s father, a TV doctor in England, told his son about a new over-the-counter acne treatment containing brown seaweed. After using these products for several weeks, his skin began to clear up. “I haven’t had any spots in the past six months,” says Steele. “Also, these products have a milder reaction than the others I’ve tried.”
If you have tried a variety of products, but still struggle to get rid of acne, you might want to consider these seaweed treatments. They certainly have had a tremendous impact on Steele’s life.
