One of the first questions we usually get from our patients who are considering injectable fillers is how long will this last?
It’s a good question. And unfortunately, there is no clear-cut answer, as the longevity of a filler treatment depends on a number of factors, including the type of filler used, the patient’s skin condition and post-skincare regimen, and how many treatments are administered.
But in general, here is a quick overview of a few of our wrinkle-reducing treatments.
Sculptra® collagen-stimulator:Results can last at least two years and sometimes longer, depending on the patient.
Temporary fillers, like Juvederm,®Restylane®and Cosmoderm®: Results typically last anywhere from six to 12 months.
Radiesse®: a temporary filler that achieves longer-lasting results of around 18 months.
ArteFill®:This permanent injectable dermal filler is made up of static microbeads that do not get broken down by the body over time. Results can be permanent.
