What are those tiny white bumps under my skin?
Those little bumps are collections of sebum (oil) that has hardened under the skin and they’re called milia,
These common tiny bumps keep your skin from being as smooth as it should be and most people have a hard time resisting the urge to pick at them (Yes, you know that will create a problem.) You can’t squeeze them out as there is no opening. So how DO you get rid of them?
- Professional extractions. We have the right tools, skills and training to safely and effectively open the skin surface and remove these little hardened oil bumps – and clean compacted pores at the same time.
- Microdermabrasion. It may seem “old school” but getting dead skin cells removed lets your pores get rid of excess oil before it hardens and becomes a blackhead or whitehead or pimple.
- Professional-level Chemical peels – glycolic acid un-glues compressed epidermal cells which can trap impurities in the pores.
- Keeping your skin hydrated helps too. Drink plenty or water and use appropriate moisturizers.
