PRF treatments are quite safe and have only minimal risks, which are generally rare, since the treatment is autologous. The likelihood of allergic reactions is incredibly low.
Mild bruising, redness, soreness, or swelling may occur; these are common after any needle-based treatment and will fade quickly. Undereye swelling or puffiness may persist for up to 5 days after the PRF treatment session. Temporary swelling, redness, bruising, or tenderness at the injection sites may occur but typically resolve quickly.
