Rhinophyma produces a visible thickening and irregular surface texture on the nose and CO2 laser treatment is one of the primary ways to address it. In the before photo, you can see the characteristic bulbous, nodular tissue on the nasal tip and lower nose. Dr. Nasrin Mani used fractional CO2 laser to resurface that tissue, reducing the thickened skin and irregular contour. The after photo shows the nose with noticeably less bulk and a smoother surface texture; some post-treatment redness is visible, which is expected at this stage of healing. The same laser was used for broader facial skin resurfacing in the same session. Individual results vary.
