Three energy-based treatments were combined for this 80-year-old patient: IPL, VBeam, and Fraxel, all performed by Dr. Jameson Loyal at La Jolla Cosmetic Laser Clinic & Dermatology. The treatment area covered the lower face and neck. Before the session, the skin shows scattered brown pigmentation across the chest and neck, along with diffuse redness on the lower face. The after photo, taken while the skin is still in an active post-treatment phase, shows the expected response: redness and mild reactive changes across the neck and décolletage, which are normal signs that the lasers have engaged the target tissue. Each device addresses a different skin concern, so combining them lets the provider work across pigment, vascular, and textural layers together.
