Three treatments were combined by Dr. Nasrin Mani in a single plan: Fraxel laser resurfacing, acne subcision, and Radiesse filler. Subcision releases fibrous bands that tether depressed acne scars to the tissue beneath, allowing the skin surface to sit more evenly. Fraxel then works on overall skin texture and tone across the face. Radiesse, a calcium hydroxylapatite filler, was used to add volume where it had been lost. The after photo shows the skin surface noticeably smoother and the scarring along the lower face and chin considerably reduced in depth. Results vary from patient to patient.
